This year's Competition was held on Saturday May 21st, starting with the Draw at 15:00. It was hosted by Alfold, in the south of our patch:
The day was reasonably fine with some sun, allowing members of the twelve (yes, that's twelve!) teams to make use of the churchyard for listening and catching up on news during the competition.
The Alfold ringers and friends put on a superb tea in the Church Rooms afterwards, when the results were given as follows:
| Position | Team | Mark |
| 1 | Cathedral middle ten | 144 |
| 2 | Witley A | 122 |
| 3 | Cathedral front eight | 105 |
| 4 | Cranleigh omega | 98 |
| 5 | Godalming | 95 |
| 6 | Cranleigh alpha | 90 |
| 7 | Chiddingfold | 85 |
| 8 | Haslemere | 82 |
| 9 | Shalford | 81 |
| 10 | Witley B | 76 |
| 11 | Alfold | 71 |
| 12 | Holy Trinity, Guildford | 57 |
The judges were Geoff Rix and Richard Verrall.
Note the scoring system, with 5 points being awarded for a perfect row, and a formula being applied
afterwards to account for the number of rows rung and the assistant judge's mark.
The District Master's Special Award for progress went to Alfold.
