As in recent years, apologies will not be taken at the Meeting. They should be sent in advance to the Guild Secretary, Rod Pierce, (address above) in writing or by e-mail to: ann.rodpierce@ntlworld.com, or they can be handed to the Secretary during the afternoon of 9th March, before the business meeting commences.
Minutes of the 73rd Annual General Meeting are attached. They are also available on the Guild web page. It is proposed they be taken as read at the Meeting.
Please make every effort to attend and encourage your members to come, and to ring at the available towers beforehand. Could you also ensure that those intending to come have an opportunity to look at these Minutes beforehand.

To be proposed by Mr GL Nayler: That the Guild rules be amended in the following respect:- After rule 7, to add the following:

In cases where a District Master, Secretary or Treasurer
is prevented regularly from attending meetings of the Executive Committee or subcommittees of which they are ex-officio members, they may, with the approval of the (Guild) Master appoint a deputy to act at such meetings in their stead. |
